1993
Out of Stock
Rare Gerald Genta Octagonal Perpetual Calendar and Moonphase Skeleton Wristwatch from the 1990s.
This unusual skeleton watch from Gerald Genta fronts an unbelievable multi-faceted octagonal sapphire crystal that can only be observed close-up at an angle. The inner-workings of the perpetual calendar and moonphase is presented through this sapphire crystal and four subsidiary dials, of which the moonphase is marked by lapis lazuli aperture. Time is denoted by yellow gold rounded baton hands. This piece is powered by the Calibre 1112, self-winding core in a 35mm case with acutely protruding pushers at the case band for adjusting the calendar complication. The skeleton movement is presented with elaborated Art Nouveau engravings and “GG” monogram.
