Gouverneur Ref.15958 Triple Calendar Moonphase

A Rare Vintage Piaget Ref.15958 Triple Calendar & Moonphase Dress Watch from 1990.

This is a very significant piece in Piaget's story as it belongs to a transitional phase in the 1990s where Piaget revealed to the world their ability to create complicated watches rather than just time-only high jewellery watches. The Reference 15958 fronts a silvered sunburst dial, decorated with recessed sub-dials for month, day, date and moon phase. Time is marked by applied yellow gold Baton markers and Baton hands. An outer chapter rim before the bezel, features black gilt lines to mark the hours as an extension to the Baton markers. This is considerably unique, apart from the extremely clean and minimalist sub-dials that are presented without any finishing, such as engine-turning we can usually find. This piece is powered by the Cal. 8532T nestled in a 33mm, 18k yellow gold case.
