Vintage Audemars Piguet Huitième Ref.25644 Chronograph in Tantalum and Rose Gold from 1990.

The Huitième Chronographs was inducted during a period of transition between vintage and modern timepieces and so integrates classical design with contemporary characteristics. The salmon dial features three recessed chronograph subdials, highlighted by thin rose gold rings. Hours are denoted by small rose gold pellet markers, a very subtle proposition. Thin 18k rose gold needle hands add to the elegance. The magnifying glass for date at 3 o’clock is interestingly placed within the clear crystal, spelling of attention to details. A Tachymeter scale encircles the entire package in this 40.5mm modern size.

The Audemars Piguet Self-Winding Calibre 2126 and Dubois-Depraz module column-wheel chronograph movement sets this piece in motion, protected by Tantalum and rose gold integrated case. The three-body case, downturned lugs and bezel are brushed and polished.
