Ref.6694 Royal Chronometer "Batman" Lugs in Yellow Gold

Vintage Vacheron Constantin Fancy Bark Batman Lugs Dress Watch from the 1960s

This Vacheron Constantin is a rare vintage model with all the essence of the maison’s signature on their dress watches plus abit more, with the bark-finishing batman lugs. The champagne sunburst dial is adorned with applied gold baton markers, faceted baton hands and sweep center second hand. The markers, hour hands and minute hands are further highlighted with black gilt paint. A slight sign of aging is visible at the lower lugs on the left while other than this, the watch is in a great condition. Date aperture with gold frame sits at three o’clock. Signed Vacheron Constantin, Geneve and Royal Chronometer , Automatic. A diamond is set right in the middle of the applied gold Maltese Cross.

This piece is powered by the K1072 self-winding movement nestled in a 35mm 18k yellow gold case. The movement is based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre 493 but modified to include centre sweep seconds and date.
