This Patek Philippe in stainless steel case is rare in the fact that no other variants were made out of precious metals throughout the manufacturing timeline spanning 8 years from 1962 to 1970. This piece we have here is one of the 50 pieces identified back in the market.

The reference is appealing to collectors today with the combination of stainless steel and the “la grande dame des automatiques Suisse,” calibre 27-460 self-winding movement. The 35mm case offered a more masculine look to the bearer and together with the evergreen, minimalist design, the Ref. 3466 is desirable. Case back is screwed down ensuring watch is waterproof. The dial designed by Stern Freres is presented in silvered opalin satin, completed with engraved hard enamel signature, applied gold baton markers and perle minute ring.
