Vintage Tavannes Steel Two-Tone Chronograph from the 1940s.
This rare and unusual vintage piece from Tavannes fronts a two-tone orange and white dial with two subsidiary dials for 30-minute counter and small seconds. Blued snail scale is featured right in the middle intersecting with the two registers, a classic design of Chronographs manufactured in the 1940s and 1950s. Complementing the fashionable dial are baton markers and black Moderne hands for hours and minutes. Chronometer is denoted by a centre sweep Chronometer hand. This rare piece presents a modernistic, toolish and yet fashionable outlook.
