Vintage Patek Philippe REF. 962/1J RQ E “GRANDE-COMPLICATION”, 9 Hands Pocket Watch from 1992.

Ref. 962-1 is the same watch with the equation of time display. Watches by Patek Philippe with equation of time are very rare. Only one ref. 962 was identified from the market since launch, not more than three or four were made in total. In all Patek Philippe history, including the few ultracomplications as the Graves’ or the Packard’s, 12 watches with equation of time display were identified. Ref. 962 is a contemporary complicated pocket watch with minute repeating and perpetual calendar, phases on the moon, leap year and 24 hours display. It was produced from 1986 to 1992. Note the movement serial number printed on the dial, as Patek Philippe use to do for all its very important pocket watches.

An Extract of Archives dated 2020 confirms that the watch was made in 1992 and sold in 1992 depicting the complications and the dial of the watch exactly like they are.
