1980

Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref.3700 Double-Signed Beyer from 1980.
The Reference 3700 was the very first Nautilus introduced by Patek Philippe back in 1976 and it is a time-only piece at a whopping 42mm. Nicknamed the 'Jumbo' , the Reference 3700 denote time with its applied white gold baton markers and index hands, all with lume. Beyer signature sits above six, and the date aperture sits at three o'clock. The sigma markings at the bottom of the dial indicates a promise that the markers and hands on the dial are all solid white gold. The smokey grey dial has a blue-ish tint at certain angles but most often than not, the dial is mistaken to be black in colour. The Reference 3700 is a classical icon with the perfect mix of aesthetic and function. Powered by the self-winding Cal. 28-255C in a monoblock 42mm case.
