Rare Vintage Patek Philippe Ref.2424R Cioccolatone Flame Shape Overhanging Lugs Dress Watch from 1950.
This vintage Patek Philippe reference 2424 in rose gold with flame shape overhanging lugs, rose gold hands denoting time with raised rose gold fancy and dot hour markers. Small seconds sit at 6 o’clock. Engraved-enameled peripheral minutes scale, seconds dial and signature in black. A calibre 10-200 sits in the 18K rose gold, two-piece body completed with snap-back case. At 30 x 43mm, this piece was considered an oversized watch but will sit perfectly on the wrist of ladies and men today. An extract of Archives dated 2007 confirms that this piece was made in 1950 and sold in 1951.
