Ref.6378 2-Tone Dial Dress Watch
1960s

Vintage Vacheron Constantin Ref.6378 2-Tone Dial Yellow Gold Dress Watch from the 1960s.
The Reference 6378 with the 2-Tone Dial and highly unusual markers is rare and different from the original Reference 6378. This piece fronts a silvered 2-Tone dial of a Satine chapter where the hour markers run, in the midst of the main sunburst dial. Another unique proposition of this piece is the off-center sunburst that is centered from the brand's signature at twelve, not from the center of the dial. Yellow gold minute perle ring is found in the center chapter, causing the Dauphin hands and center second hands to be unusually short too. The base of the Dauphine hands are designed to form a star. This elegant piece is powered by the Calibre P1019 Automatic movement within a 35mm 18k yellow gold case. The mild patina around the crown adds a vintage appeal to this well-maintained piece from Vacheron Constantin.
