2-Tone Dial Case Lugs

Fancy lugs and oversized watches are definitive of Vacheron Constantin vintages from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. In this example is another rare and exquisite feature, with 2-Tone dial which is now a considered a Tropical dial with natural and even ageing all around, and most significantly a 2-tone case, combining yellow-gold case and steel lugs. The steel lugs are of teardrop shape and maintained in mint conditions. Time is denoted by applied gold Arabic numerals and faceted squares on the outer chapter for hours. Minute track rims the inner chapter of the dial. Subsidiary seconds sit at six.
