Vintage Patek Philippe "Monopusher" Chronograph "Paris Style" Amber Dial Pocket Watch from 1912.
The earliest chronographs were made around 1860 and the earliest one identified to have survived is from 1867. Patek produced a total of around 1400- 1500 chronograph movements from which about 250 watches were identified from the market or diverse publications. Until 1900, most chronograph pocket watches are hunter-case designs and the ones with register are rare. Today, one can still make an order for this complication with the delivery time will be around two years, the price is over SF 35’000.
An Extract of Archives dated 2020 confirms the watch movement was produced in 1912 and sold in 1923 with Roman numerals and an amber colour enamel dial.
