Vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 2525R Rose Gold Manual-Winding, double-signed dial marking the retailer Casa Welsch S.A., Lima is its original, aged form. This piece is made in the 1950s, retailed in Peru and has a beautiful Patina and Tropicalisation for that authentic vintage feel. The 18k gold case features a stepped bezel and fluted lugs and recessed crown. At 36mm, the Reference 2525Rwould be considered over-sized in those days but perfect for the contemporary gentlemen today, even the ladies. The dial is a rare champagne Calatrava styled face with applied gold faceted dart indexes, gold dauphine hands and perle minute on the outer ring. The Reference 2525R adds a little sophistication to the usual Calatrava dial by adding an additional rose gold inner ring separating the hour markers and the perle minute ring. Distinctive offer without damaging the Calatrava’s minimalist style. A subsidiary second cross-hair dial sits at 6 o’clock. This beautifully aged vintage is powered by the Calibre 10-200 manual-winding movement by Patek Philippe, signed with Patek Philippe & Co., Geneva Seal hallmark and Swiss.
