Double-Signed "Bulgari" Cloisonné Enamel Dial Bracelet Watch

Vintage Audemars Piguet Rectangular Manual-Winding Watch with Cloisonné Enamel dial from 1940s.

We estimate this vintage piece to be from the mid-1940s, with Art Deco Rectangular Cloisonné Enamel two-tone dial with well-aged sword hands and a subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. Stretched Roman numerals of a very thin typeface marked the hours at three, nine and twelve o’clock. A black enamel dot ring marked all twelve hours within the inner dial. The face is double-signed Audemars, Piguet & Co. and Bulgari, which we believe indicates a piece made for Bulgari to retail. The case shape is also a unique feature, compared to other tank watches of that era, this piece is designed to be oversized at the top and bottom. The strap with a smaller width gave the bezel a frame of an artpiece impression. A manual-winding mechanical movement powers this time-only piece, of which is very thin. This vintage is a very rare and unique piece that represented the early timepieces influenced by the Art Deco movement.
